Inspired by the ancient practice of placing symbolic foliage over thresholds, by ancient Willow and the beauty symbolism of british birds.

A branch with finches over the doorway or window speaks to resilience and renwal.
Long associated with feminine energy and intuition, the Willow symbolises the power to bend without breaking. The finches, frozen in a moment, symbolise happiness and connection.

Cast in bronze, the piece transforms these living symbols into something lasting, allowing the viewer to pass through the threshold to a plact of complete protection and belonging.


Each edition will be similar but unique in that the branch if cast from life can never be exactly replicated exactly.
